New people!

We warmly welcome our new postdoc, Dr. Joydip Ghosh, who is working on our project focussing on BiOI X-ray detectors. This is in collaboration with the Detector Development Group at the STFC, as well as the groups of Prof. Quanxi Jia (Buffalo), Prof. Judith Driscoll (Cambridge) and Prof. Wanyi Nie (Buffalo).

We also welcome our summer interns, Maxime and Nat, who are Chemistry undergraduate students at St. John's College. Maxime is a first-year student, who is working with Dr. Jason Ye on perovskite nanoplatelets for light emission applications. Nat is a second-year student, who is working with Dr. Yi-Teng Huang and Kavya Reddy Dudipala on bismuth oxyhalide thin films for photovoltaics. Nat is funded by a prestigious 10-week EPSRC Vacation Internship.
