Successful completion of visits

Well done to four of our visiting researchers, who have completed their stays with us, with many successful results!

Dr. Sung Yong Bae and Dr. Woo Hyeon Jeong both returned to South Korea. They came to work with our group initially through the Brainlink programme, and stayed with us beyond the end of this programme, working on perovskite nanoplatelets. Their work are published in Light: Science & Applications, with an upcoming paper coming out in Matter, as well as a couple of other works in the pipeline.

Kilian was a visiting undergraduate student from the University of Konstanz in Germany. He worked together with Minette and Yongjie on developing kesterite nanocrystals for indoor photovoltaics. Kilian particularly delved into the physics of these novel materials systems, shedding light on their potential and current fundamental bottlenecks. We look forward to writing up this work.
