Warm welcome to 7 new group members

We welcome 7 new members of the group:

  • Dr. Sung Yong Bae (who joined us a month earlier) is a visiting postdoctoral researcher from Hanyang University in South Korea, and is visiting us via the Brainlink programme. He is working on halide and chalcogenide nanocrystals, and BiOI radiation detectors. He is part of the perovskite and radiation detectors sub-groups.
  • Chia-Yu (Minette) Chang is a DPhil student working on ternary halide semiconductors for energy harvesting. She is funded by an Oxford-Taiwan scholarship and working within the indoor photovoltaics sub-group.
  • Eilidh Quinn is a DPhil student working on halide nanocrystals for energy harvesting. She is part of the OxICFM CDT, and will commence her research from Easter next year onwards. She will be part of the indoor photovoltaics sub-group.
  • Yixin (Ivy) Wang is a MSc (Res) student working on understanding cation disorder in ternary chalcogenide semiconductors. She is part of the materials discovery sub-group.
  • Charlie Nicholls is a fourth-year MChem student working on the synthesis of perovskite nanoplatelets for polarised light emission. He is part of the perovskites sub-group
  • Emma Setzer is a final-year undergraduate in Physics from the University of Konstanz in Germany. She is working on Sb2Sindoor photovoltaics, and their applications in the IoT. She is part of the indoor photovoltaics sub-group

We also have Amy Bryan, a fourth-year MChem student working on polycrystalline BiOI radiation detectors. She is part of the radiation detectors sub-group.
