Robert promoted to full Professor
We are delighted to announce that our group leader, Robert, has been promoted to full Professor of Materials Chemistry! This is an excellent milestone for the group, awarded 3.5 years after starting at Oxford. In that time, 11 postdocs, 11 DPhil students, 11 Masters students and 2 visiting professors have been part of the group, along with many visiting Bachelors and Masters students. Five DPhil students have graduated, all with roles in academia or consulting, and three postdocs went on to secure professorships in National Taiwan University, South China University of Technology, and Soochow University. Other former postdocs have gone on to industry roles, or as senior researchers at Universities / Institutes. We also formed many fruitful collaborations with researchers across the world, from the US, Europe, UK, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
