Bio: Kavya completed her DPhil in the group from 2021 to 2026. Previously, she completed two Masters at the University of Hyderabad (2012-2017) and University of Turin and Ludwig Maximilian University, which she completed in 2021. She began with the group as a PhD student when we were at Imperial College London, moving with us to Oxford in 2022. In addition to her academic work, she has been heavily engaged with startups and patent law. She has returned to the group for 6 months to work on an EPSRC IAA project to commercialise the BiOI X-ray detectors she developed during her DPhil.
