Bio: Rebecca is an MChem student working on developing bismuth-based materials as single crystals for photon counting detection. She is mentored by Dr. Joydip Ghosh and Georgia Fields, and is working as part of the group's wider efforts on developing X-ray detectors for medical imaging funded by the NSF-ESPRC, as well as by the Royal Academy of Engineering and Science & Technology Facilities Council.
